Step 1. Call our Admissions Counselor

Making the decision to seek help for substance abuse is the first step, but that doesn’t mean it feels easy. That’s why we’re with you every step of the way.

You begin your road to recovery by speaking with an admissions counselor. We’re available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by phone for your convenience. When you call South Miami Recovery, you’ll speak with someone who understands how to break the cycle of addiction. We will conduct a brief evaluation over the phone to better understand your specific needs with questions including but not limited to:

  • Types of substances used
  • Length and frequency of use
  • Any Addiction Treatment history
  • Employment and living circumstances
  • Medical symptoms

Step 2. Financial Information

We believe that the admissions process should be as simple and straightforward as possible. Finances should not be an obstacle to quality care. When you call, our admissions counselor will advise you on financial options. If you have insurance, we will request your permission to verify your benefits and advise you of out of pocket costs that may be associated. We also offer payment plans to those who qualify.

Step 3. Intake

The next phase of the process begins when you speak with our clinical experts about the best plan for your treatment. The clinician will help determine the best course of action needed and guide you through every step of the process. If South Miami Recovery is not the right fit for you, our clinician will assist you in finding a place that meets your needs.

If South Miami Recovery is the right fit for you, the admissions counselor will set up an appointment for you to enroll in the program.

Insurance

We believe that addiction treatment should be affordable and accessible for all. That’s why we partner with so many insurers who share our vision. We accept Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Humana, and all other major insurance providers.

Navigating coverage on your own can be confusing and time-consuming. Let us handle the heavy lifting. Our admissions counselors will work directly with your provider on your behalf, identifying your benefits and determining how much of your treatment is covered. As an insurance-friendly treatment center, we accept most major health insurance plans. When you call, simply provide us with the client’s name and birth date, the name of your provider, your member ID or policy number, and the type of plan the client has. We will speak with your insurer to gather benefit information and translate that into simple, easily understood terms.

Our team holds patient confidentiality as a high priority. All communications are private and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
